Irene received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Iona College in 1988. She began her accounting career in public accounting with Ernst & Young and after a few years accepted a new position with American Express in Corporate Accounting. She worked at American Express in several positions and in different divisions for over 15 years including the Travel Related Services business and in Corporate Headquarters.

The majority of her accounting career has been in financial services companies including American Express, JP Morgan Chase, Citibank and Bank of Montreal. Her experience includes financial statement analysis, planning, forecasting, budgeting, auditing and accounting controls. At Bank of Montreal, she provided consulting services and project management for the bank’s regulatory responses and overall internal auditing guidance. Irene also has three years of customer service and claims experience with a local Westchester manufacturing company.
